Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
Note: Some of these activities have been halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The people of Bethel live out their faith in a variety of ways. You’ll find Bethelites actively involved with “in-house” ministries such as:
- “Bethel4All“–a deliberate process of collaboration in areas of ministry, outreach, and facility support with several of the other organizations operating out of this space
- Giving non-perishable food, toothpaste and other essential items for our free outdoor food pantry.
- Taking part in the Bethel Prayer Chain
- Sewing quilts and other items for Lutheran World Relief
- Gathering gifts and food to distribute at Thanksgiving and Christmas
As you travel around the community, you’ll also find us actively engaged with:
- The Ridgecrest and North City Neighborhood Associations
- Bread for the World
- Local PTAs
- North Helpline Emergency Services and Food Bank and Hopelink
- The Shoreline School District and Shoreline Community College
