As a way of walking in accompaniment in Christ with our community, Bethel is in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health to distribute free Naloxone kits to those who are at risk of experiencing an opioid-induced overdose or to people with loved ones who are at risk of one. We are able to do this through Washington’s statewide prescription, meaning one does not need to obtain a doctor’s prescription for Naloxone in the state of Washington to receive it.
Naloxone (brand name Narcan) is an antidote to an opioid-induced overdose, administered as a nasal spray or injected in the thigh, quickly restoring breathing and saving countless lives.
If you or someone you know may be at risk of an opioid-related overdose and you would like to receive some Naloxone kits, please come visit the church (17529 15th Ave NE, Shoreline WA) during office hours (Mon-Thurs 9:30 am to 4:30 pm). You can also call the office at 206-362-4334 or email the Director of Community Engagement at dce@bethel4all.org to set up an appointment. You can as well message our Facebook page.
