Reminder: we’re doing a Blessing of the Pets on Sunday October 5 (12:30pm) in the lower parking lot’s greenspace. All are welcome (though you should cage or otherwise contain any critters who might struggle to “love thy neighbors”)
Reminder: Bible study & conversation with Pastor Chris is starting up this week — it’ll be every Thursday at 1pm. All are welcome! Weekly readings will be taken from the Narrative Lectionary and will reflect the upcoming Sunday’s preaching text.

A familiar face is coming to Bethel on September 21: Pastor Dick Wendt, who served Bethel faithfully as our interim in 2011. We’re excited to have him “back in the pulpit” for a Sunday and looking forward to sharing God’s grace together!
Join us during worship on August 31 for a special Blessing of the Backpacks! We’ll take time during the service to recognize students, teachers, administrators, and others involved in our educational system–both religious and municipal–and bless them in preparation for a great school year!
It’s that time of year again: remember that our August 24 service will be OUTDOORS at Hamlin Park (16006 15th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155) at 10am — it’s a potluck, but you don’t have to bring anything to come (cuz let’s be honest: there’s always too much food at these things…) See you there!
Just a heads-up that Pastor Chris will be away from Shoreline August 13-18: pastoral care will be provided by a combination of lay caregivers and on-call clergy. Please call the church office if you have any concerns or needs.
